Shower like you give a puck Made with cocoa butter, mango butter, and coconut oil, these soap pucks serve as an ultra-hydrating skin and face cleanser, a moisturizing beard wash, and a gentle hair shampoo. But that’s not all—whip it up into a foamy lather with a shave brush for the smoothest head shave of your life. Yeah, we raised the bar and made the most well-rounded bar soap out there. Everything else is just a square.
Battle scars proudly shown Growth doesn’t come easily. There are setbacks, defeats, and valuable lessons along the way. Every bump, bruise, scar, broken bone, and broken heart tells a story and should be worn with pride. That same philosophy applies to Beardbrand packaging. Your aluminum bottles and jars will dent and get dinged up along the way. We see it as a reminder to not hide from our scars and imperfections—but to embrace them.
THIS ISN'T YOUR FATHER'S BAR SOAP
Think all bar soaps leave your skin dry? Think again. Beardbrand Utility Bars are made with natural ingredients. They start with skin and hair softening coconut and mango butter and add cleansing and nourishing oils like almond, coconut, and apricot that gently dislodge debris from deep within the skin’s pores.
A BAR SOAP THAT GOES HARD
The harder a bar soap is, the longer it lasts. And the longer it lasts, the less frequently you need to buy it. What makes Beardbrand Utility Bars harder and more long-lasting than the average bar soap?
Ingredients: All bar soap is made using a combination of butters, hard oil, and soft oil. The more butter and hard oil used, the harder the bar of soap. Three of the top four ingredients in the Utility Bar are cocoa butter, mango butter, and coconut oil (a hard oil), resulting in a higher percentage of "hard" ingredients.
Curing: The longer a bar soap cures, the harder it is. Beardbrand Utility Bars are cured for a minimum of three weeks before being boxed. But just how wine continues to age in the bottle, Beardbrand Utility Bars continue to cure up until the moment you start to use them.
Size: Most "big brand" bar soap is between 2.6 and 4 ounces. Beardbrand Utility Bars are 5 ounces. Fun fact—Utility Bars are just a tad smaller than NHL hockey pucks. The Utility Bar may not withstand a 100 MPH slapshot, but they will withstand two to four weeks' worth of showers—if not more.
HOW TO USE AS A BAR SOAP AND FACE WASH
Apply directly to wet or damp skin. Or, use with a loofah or washcloth. Rinse.
HOW TO USE AS A BEARD WASH
Create a lather in your hands and work into your beard, focusing on the skin beneath.
HOW TO USE AS A SHAMPOO BAR
Place the bar directly on wet hair and rub to work into a lather. Once a substantial lather has been built, gently massage the soap into the roots of your hair and scalp. Rinse.
HOW TO USE AS A SHAVE SOAP
Place the bar at the bottom of a shaving mug, wet your shaving brush, and shake off any excess water. Next, run your brush over the Utility Bar and apply the thick, moisturizing lather to your face or scalp. You’re ready for a comfortable, luxurious shave.
