OSPREY WAX II SNAPBACK Navy

The Osprey, the noble Sea / River Hawk.  There is an amazing illustration of the raptor, in the famous Audobon's "Bird's of America," gracefully snatching a fish from the water, that inspired my drawing for the embroidery.

For the new version Ampal Creative used an English Dry Wax by historic textile house, British Millerain.  It's a modernized version of wax canvas with an updated blend of waxes that give it a lighter, "dry" feel compared to traditional wax canvas but retain all the water proof qualities.
